On this World Social Media Day, we’re sharing tips on how to effectively launch an Instagram campaign for success. Here are some tips from Social Behavior Founder, Karen De Amat!
Step 1: Optimize your profile, make sure your bio is short and catchy and your contact points are up-to-date. 🔥
Step 2: Layout a Content Scope – make it easier for you to draw from a content scope as opposed to choosing what you will be writing about each day 📲 . Your content scope may change monthly based on promotional offers and/or happenings in your business.
Step 3: Create a Hashtag Bank – A hashtag bank is a set of tags that you’re likely to use in every post. Use geotags for cities where you’re doing business, use brand tags for tags that always apply to your brand, and fun tags that are guaranteed to trigger engagement. Instagram allows use of up to 30 #hashtags per post. Don’t use all 30 but do use them wisely. We recommend alternating your tags and using 7-10 per post max.
Step 4: Block out time in your calendar 📅 to engage at least an hour a day. Instagram engagement is a two-way street. You’ll need to participate in the engagement process by engaging with your feed, audience, hashtag engagement, responding to stories, sharing on your story, etc. Engagement is considered a like, comment, DM, or share. –
Step 5: Round it out with a paid traffic campaign 📈! Set an Ad Budget and what results/conversions you’d like to see. Start experimenting with the ad campaign with a small spend over a short time period, tweak your campaign until you start seeing the results you want. We recommend doing all of the above for a successful campaign for any business on Instagram. 🤝
